The OWLs’ May activities will start with our potluck on Wednesday, May 16, at noon in the fellowship hall.
Now that we have figured out how to use the new coffee machine, we will have hot coffee and great food with outstanding fellowship. Since we have not had a game day since Christmas, our program will be fun and spirited competition with some of our favorite games and additional new ones. Do not miss this fun and spirited event.
The OWLs are a group at First that welcomes anyone, First Lutheran members or not, who are 55+. For information or to ask questions, contact Brian Narveson.

Just a reminder that tomorrow (Wednesday, May 9) is our Sunday School Spring Concert! This will be held during Wednesday night worship.
Parents/Guardians: Bring your children at 6pm to their opening rooms. Worship starts at 6:15 and after worship please pick up your child in their opening room and return to the Narthex for fellowship and yummy treats!

The parking lot ministry needs warm and friendly faces to greet guests and worshipers who come into the parking lot, giving help if needed at the entrance door and giving umbrellas to those who need one when it’s raining. Come to the Welcome Center to receive more information and sign up to help.
The Sunshine Boys gather on the first Thursday of the month, and will gather next on Thursday, May 3, at 9am.
The Sunshine Boys are an informal group that perform a variety of necessary tasks around the church; such as grounds clean-up, minor repairs, and other small jobs. Rolls and coffee are supplied to replenish your reserves! Dues are free!
The Sunshine Boys are led by Mike Peper, head custodian at First Lutheran. Contact Mike with any questions.
More than 800 million people — 11% of people in our world today — are hungry. As members of the ELCA, we are called to respond. This Sunday First will be taking a special offering in support of ELCA's ministries that help those in hunger.

Join us at First Lutheran for Easter worship this Sunday at 7:30am, 9am and 10:45am.
Parking will be tight on Sunday, so feel free to use the parking lots at city hall and at Irving Pertzsch Elementary School. Parking on the street is also an option, available on all sides of the church property.
The Onalaska Holmen Food Basket particularly needs the following items:

- SpaghettiOs & ravioli
- Hamburger Helper
- paper towels
Directories can be picked up while at church, or stop by the office during office hours. If you had a photo taken or submitted a photo, you get a free directory; others can purchase one for $5. Please make certain to check-in with Tamara when picking up your directory.
