Due to speaker availability our October potluck will be held on a new day and date. We will all gather for great food, fellowship and a special program on TUESDAY October 23 at noon in the fellowship hall. This is a one time move to TUESDAY so please mark you calendars.
As seniors we all know of and fear memory loss. Our program “Education: The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia an Alzheimer’s Disease” presented by Amy Brezinka a Care Coach Consultant, will help educate us on the different types of memory loss. The presentation is a workshop developed by the Alzheimer’s Association for anyone who would like to know more about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
The OWLs are a group at First that welcomes anyone, First Lutheran members or not, who are 55+. For information or to ask questions, contact Brian Narveson.
A reminder to all members that First Lutheran is a latex- and nut-free campus. Please do not bring food containing nuts or nut butters of any kind onto the church campus. This is for the safety of all of our members. Thanks!
