The parking lot ministry needs warm and friendly faces to greet guests and worshipers who come into the parking lot, giving help if needed at the entrance door and giving umbrellas to those who need one when it’s raining. Come to the Welcome Center to receive more information and sign up to help.
I am looking for Sunday School teachers and Children’s Time helpers! These people get to see our congregation’s children up close! I love these opportunities as my relationships with these children have grown as we love to laugh, have fun and talk about Jesus. My wish is for others to have those lights in their life! Helping care for the kiddos of our church allows families to more readily participate in the ministries offered at First Lutheran. You can help this ministry as a volunteer nursery attendant. Nursery kids range from newborn through 4 years. Adult volunteers welcome; youth should have some babysitting or prior nursery experience. The Sunshine Boys gather on the first Thursday of the month, and will gather next on Thursday, May 3, at 9am.
The Sunshine Boys are an informal group that perform a variety of necessary tasks around the church; such as grounds clean-up, minor repairs, and other small jobs. Rolls and coffee are supplied to replenish your reserves! Dues are free!
The Sunshine Boys are led by Mike Peper, head custodian at First Lutheran. Contact Mike with any questions.
More than 800 million people — 11% of people in our world today — are hungry. As members of the ELCA, we are called to respond. This Sunday First will be taking a special offering in support of ELCA's ministries that help those in hunger.

The First Lutheran quilters need sheets (gently used) and can always use fabric. Donations may be dropped off at the church office.
The 2018 La Crosse Area Synod Assembly is June 8-10 (Friday-Sunday) at Western Technical College, in La Crosse. An elected voting member will need to attend the assembly & various pre-meetings. If you are interested in serving our Synod and congregation as one of First Lutheran’s five voting members, contact Pastor Stanton or the church office. It’s a great opportunity to be the church!

Hop on a bus and take a ride around Onalaska to visit and carol to those who need extra Christmas cheer! Join us after the singing for a potluck dinner back at the church.
