If you are looking for alternative ideas to support the excitement in your household during the Christmas season, Beth has a few solutions…
A Star From Afar teaches the meaning of Christmas while encouraging children to go on a hunt for their star, similar to that of the wise men. Every day the Star is hidden, and the children participate in a fun hide-and-seek game to locate it. Once they have found their star, they move all three wise men to its location.
Kindness Elves leave notes to shine your child’s light into the world by doing random acts of kindness.
There are only 5 books and elves left! Both are on display and for sale in our resource center outside the office!
If you have questions, check out the display in the Resource Center or fill out the form below to tell Beth Miller what you'd like to order…
Thursday, December 8 at 6pm. If you plan to join us, please consider bringing a batch of your favorite cookie dough to add to the mix and a snack or beverage to share! A great night of fellowship and fun! The Christmas music will be in full swing. Hope to see you there!
There will be no Wednesday worship at First Lutheran tomorrow. We invite everyone to worship with us the next day on Christmas Eve, at 2pm, 4pm, 6pm or 11pm.
Have a blessed Christmas!
Join us for an evening of beautiful music this Saturday, December 20th at 7:30pm, as Aliyah Richling, soprano, and Janette Hanson, piano, celebrate the coming of Christ and the wonder of the holiday season.
You will hear traditional Christmas carols and delicate art songs that remind us of the universal blessings of the Christmas season. The program will include songs by Hugo Wolf, Norman Dello Joio, and unique arrangements of traditional carols. You'll also hear a duet featuring the lovely Clara Knutson!
This event does not require tickets, however, donations are suggested as the evening will also serve as a fundraiser for Aliyah's alternate pilgrimage to Israel in January.
A small reception will follow after the recital.
If you are unable to attend but would like to donate or would like more information on Aliyah's pilgrimage, please click the following link: http://www.gofundme.com/gbb9ic
